ABOUT KBH INTERIORS

KBH Interiors, Inc. is a Valdosta based business owned and operated by Kay Barker Henry. Henry, a native of Valdosta, began her decorating business twenty-five years ago. Before moving back to Valdosta in 1997, Henry lived in Atlanta. There, she participated in the Home Builders' Home Expo for a number of years. She won several awards for Best Interior and Best of Show in the design field. In 1990, she won the People's Choice Award. When she returned to Valdosta in June 1997, she joined forces with Harris Green, who had been in the construction business since the early 1960s. In the 1990s Green had moved into the field of restoration and renovations. Today he and Henry find satisfaction and fulfillment in taking apart an old, dilapidated home, putting it back together and then restoring it to its original beauty and charm. Together they represent sixty-five years of building, designing, and renovating experience.
